TVP Sport officially took over the rights to broadcast the FA Cup, ending the tournament’s absence from the national schedule. Previously, FA Cup matches were available on Eleven Sports, but after the end of the 2023/2024 season, neither station decided to extend the contract.

Now the situation has changed, and the public broadcaster not only returns with this competition, but immediately announces a wider broadcast offer.

FA Cup 1/32 Final Match on TVP Sport

Fans will see the first matches under the new deal in January. TVP Sport will show selected matches of the 1/32 finals of the FA Cup, and plans include clashes with top Premier League teams and teams famous for cup surprises.

The opening broadcast is scheduled for Friday’s match between Wrexham and Nottingham Forest. The match promises to be particularly interesting given Wrexham’s massive popularity and clash with top league rivals.

Hits featuring Premier League giants

The next few days will bring a real marathon of cup emotions. On Saturday, fans will see three matches, including a match between Manchester City and Exeter City, as well as doubles between Tottenham and Aston Villa and Charlton and Chelsea.
